Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 14 August 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing or using a Polaris Profile. By creating an account, completing the questionnaire, or purchasing a profile, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

These Terms are between you and Polaris Profile ("Polaris", "we", "us"), operating from the United Kingdom. Contact: info@polarisprofile.com.

2. What Polaris Profile is — and what it is not

Polaris Profile is a behavioural profiling product. You answer a questionnaire, and we generate a written profile describing your colour preferences and behavioural style, drawing on Jungian type theory, behavioural dimension theory, and modern trait psychology.

Your profile is generated using artificial intelligence. The content of each profile is AI-written to a design, structure, and methodology created by Polaris. No human reviews your individual profile before delivery unless we tell you otherwise.

Polaris Profile is provided for personal insight, self-development, team development, and professional development purposes only. It is not:

Your profile describes preferences and tendencies based on your questionnaire answers on the day you completed it. It does not describe fixed traits, abilities, intelligence, or suitability for any role, and it may not describe you accurately.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a profile. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. If you complete the questionnaire through an invitation from your employer or another organization, separate arrangements between us and that organization may also apply.

4. Price and payment

Prices are displayed at checkout in your regional currency (currently £9.99 / US$14.99 / CA$19.99 / A$19.99 for an individual Core Profile) and include applicable VAT/GST where required. Prices may change at any time, but changes do not affect purchases already completed. Payment is processed by our payment provider Stripe; we do not store your full card details.

5. Delivery

Your profile is digital content. It is generated after you complete the questionnaire and confirm your purchase, and delivered to your account and/or email address, normally within around 5 minutes.

6. Cancellation and refunds

UK and EU customers: you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content. However, by ticking the consent box at checkout you (a) expressly request that we begin generating your profile immediately and (b) acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once generation has begun. If you do not give this consent, your profile will not be generated until the 14-day period has expired. This does not affect your statutory rights where the content is faulty or not as described.

Australian customers: our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies those guarantees. If there is a major failure with the service you are entitled to a refund; for other failures you are entitled to have the failure remedied in a reasonable time.

US customers: because your profile is personalised digital content generated on demand, all sales are final once generation has begun, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where the profile is not delivered.

If your profile fails to generate or is materially corrupted, contact us and we will regenerate it or refund you.

Our money-back guarantee: separately from your legal rights above, we currently offer a voluntary money-back guarantee: a full refund if requested within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. The guarantee is a goodwill offer, may be changed or withdrawn for future purchases at any time, and does not affect your statutory rights.

7. How you may use your profile

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use your profile for your own personal and professional development. You may share your own profile with others (for example, your manager or team).

You must not:

8. Intellectual property

Polaris owns all intellectual property in the Polaris Profile product, including the questionnaire, colour framework, type codes, scoring and banding methodology, prompt architecture, brand, characters, and website content. Your license in clause 7 is the only right you receive.

9. Your responsibilities

You confirm that your questionnaire answers are your own honest responses. Profiles generated from inaccurate, incomplete, or third-party answers may be inaccurate, and we accept no responsibility for that inaccuracy.

10. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 12:

11. Your indemnity to us

You agree to indemnify us against all losses, claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) we suffer arising from: (a) your use of a Polaris profile in breach of clause 7, including any use of a profile in employment or other decisions affecting another person; (b) your breach of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right in connection with your use of the service. This clause does not apply to the extent a loss is caused by our own breach of these Terms or our negligence.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you (including your statutory rights as a consumer in the UK, your consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, and any non-waivable rights under the law of your US state).

Subject to that paragraph:

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account if you materially breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time; profiles already delivered remain licensed to you under clause 7.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer resident in Australia, the United States, or elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rules of your home country or state, and nothing in this clause takes those away.

16. Contact and complaints

Email info@polarisprofile.com. We aim to respond within 3 working days.
